The Police
All SSAIB Approved companies meet the requirements of the Police, through the Association of Chief Police Officers (ACPO) Code of Practice for intruder alarm systems which generate confirmed alarm signals for Police response.
Insurers will usually insist that you use a company approved by one of the two main National Inspectorates such as SSAIB as they meet the Association of British Insurers (ABI) requirements.
